Just a word of wisdom to you all. Don't ever try to change the speedo cable in a 1962 Jaguar 3.8lt series 1 E-type, because you need to remove the twin exhaust pipes before you can even see the cable angle drive on the gearbox, and even then you need a hand the size of the five year old just to get to it.

It took me most of yesterday to change that damn cable and the air was blue I can tell you.
