Oh I'm so sad to read this Colin, he looks like such a beautiful dog, I'm sure he'll be much missed

Sorry didn't see this before, I have recently returned from a trip to England and had a few probs to sort out.

Thank you very much for your kind words.

I only have one consolation, and that's the knowledge that he passed away pain free and quickly.

Yes, and also of course you didn't have to make that agonising decision re PTS - I forgot to ask, How old was he ??

He was just over 9.

The hardest thing I had to do was carry him back home again as he had a heart attack in the park while running around like a complete nutter.

One minute he was running with the pack and then he just collapsed and lay there. By the time I had run over to him, he had gone.

As you said it was quick and painless and he died happy 'cos I know from our two that they like nothing more than running free together anywhere and at anytime.

Colin, it's so sad when they leave us, but when they do they leave us such wonderful memories.

RIP big man from us all here.

Denis, Fay and all the gang.
